Committee Meetings/Activities

The Planning Committee meets every other month on the 2nd Thursday.
Meetings are from 12:00 noon- 1:15 p.m. in the Media Room, Kankakee County Sheriff's Office, 3000 South Justice Way, Kankakee, Illinois. Next meeting is June 10, 2010

The Law Enforcement/Court Systems Committee meets on the 2nd Thursday of every other month alternating with the Planning Committee.
Meetings are from 12:00 noon- 1:15 p.m. in the Media Room, Kankakee County Sheriff's Office, 3000 South Justice Way, Kankakee, Illinois. Next meeting May 13, 2010

Civil No Contact Orders Sub-Committee Meeting: School Superintendents, Judges, KC-CASA and Law:
The purpose of the meeting will be to suggest orders that can be enforced in schools. The orders will address situations where both the respondent and petitioner are students in the same school. The discussion will be used to draft language that can address the needs of the petitioner and respondent as well as the needs and constraints of the schools.

The Child Abuse Prevention Committee meets the third Thursday of every month September - May.
Meetings are from 3:00-4:00 p.m. and alternate between the Iroquois County Courthouse, Watseka, IL. and the DCFS Conference Room, Kankakee, IL.

School Committee: meets Thursday, May 20, 2010 at 1:30pm in the 6th Floor Conference Room, Iroquois-Kankakee Regional Office of Education, 189 East Court Street, Suite 600, Kankakee, Illinois

Kankakee County TRIAD for Seniors meets the first Wednesday of every month. Meetings are from 10-11:00 a.m. at Provena Heritage Village in Kankakee, IL.
