Vernie Beorkrem (Springfield)vernie.beorkrem@illinois.gov Ph. 217-524-4745 Fax 217-558-2636 The IFVCC Director co-chairs the IFVCC Steering Committee, and provides leadership oversight for program administration including the steering committee, local councils, and state committees. The director also participates with state agencies and organizations to plan and develop the capacity of the IFVCC and the local councils to provide a forum for hosting various collaborative efforts. Vernie provides technical assistance to the following councils: 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th. In addition, she staffs IFVCC state council committees, including Steering Committee, Judicial Ethics, Schools Respond to Family Violence Project and Responding to Elder Abuse Project.

State Council Coordinator
Sally Fostersally.foster@illinois.gov Ph. 312-793-2676 Fax 312-814-1108 The IFVCC State Council Coordinators provide individualized technical assistance to local family violence coordinating councils through regular contacts and visits with coordinators, council chairs, and planning committees, aiding them in capacity building through development of council collaborative processes, structure, and utilizing an appreciative inquiry approach. This includes participating with state agencies and organizations to implement programs locally utilizing local councils as a forum for collaboration. Heather provides technical support to the following councils: 3rd, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th 13th, 20th, and 21st. In addition, she staffs IFVCC state council committees, including Court Structure, Domestic Violence Court Systems Project, Schools Respond to Family Violence Project, Firearms and Domestic Violence Project and Responding to Elder Abuse Project. Sally provides technical assistance to the following councils: 12th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 22nd and Cook County. In addition, she staffs IFVCC state council committees, Visitation Exchange Center Project, Schools Respond to Family Violence Project and Responding to Elder Abuse Committee.

The IFVCC Administrative Manager provides support to all Family Violence Coordinating Councils administrative and programmatic efforts, which includes fiscal activities, state council programs, local coordinating council projects and IFVCC office management.
