Bid Wars - Storage Auctions Review
Bid Wars: Storage Auctions is a game based on a popular TV show where you buy storages full of unnecessary stuff and are trying to sell it. Download Bid Wars: Storage Auctions now if you think that you’re the smartest bidder. The game is free and available for both Android and iOS.
Bid Wars: Storage Auctions Gameplay 4.5/5
In Bid Wars it’s all about making money. In order to be successful here, you need to think faster than other bidders and know exactly how much you can spend. The game design really depends on you and may differ from bid to bid. After that, you need to sell your stuff and try to receive maximum from it. There are hundreds of different items to be collected and receiving the maximal profit won’t be easy.
Bid Wars: Storage Auctions Graphics 4/5
Graphics are not the strongest part here obviously, although you can’t call them bad. They’re just simple. However, this simplicity might even be an advantage since it doesn’t overload the screen. UI is flat, but the icons for other bidders are thoroughly drawn out. Anyway, this game isn’t about graphics, and therefore these observations are not critical.
Bid Wars: Storage Auctions Sounds 3/5
The music is Ok and doesn’t disturb you, but the voice of a seller does. It’s repetitive and is very annoying. And in order for you to better understand this madness, just imagine how lovely women’s voice repeats the same phrases for 2-3 times in a second during the auction. That’s not the best way to implement voice-over since it’s not useful at all. Basically, all it does is innervates you and nothing more.
You don’t’ need to be a sales expert in order to understand how controls work here. You simply tap faster than other bidders if you’re interested and skip if you don’t. When the storage facility is bought just click through items that you got, and you get the price. Pretty straightforward mechanics and even kids can do it.
Replay Value 2/5
This Bid Wars: Storage Auctions review would not be complete if we didn’t mention how boring this process gets over time. You enjoy it for few couple hours maybe, trying to make the best deals, but after that, it just gets more and more repetitive. It’s hard to think of how to play this game for more than a couple of days without deleting it afterward.
Bid Wars: Storage Auctions is a game with a very interesting concept behind it. It’s unlikely that you’ll see another game with a similar idea, although it still needs major improvements. The main concern with the game though is that it gets boring very fast and there’s nothing you can do about it. Perhaps the developers should think of implementing more game modes for players to enjoy or to bring some sort of achievements system. Improving repetitive sounds would also be great.
The game can be good but is very raw for now. Download Bid Wars: Storage Auctions if you’re interested in the idea behind it but try not to fall asleep when playing it.
Pros : Original gameplay based on a popular show;
More than 200 items.
